After going down 0-2, things looked bleak for Toronto, but now it’s all good. As was the case in 2015, they looked bruised and beaten after the first two games of the conference finals. All they seemed to need was some home cooking, and Drake massaging Nick Nurse during the fourth quarter. Their role players who have struggled of late all stepped up en route to the win in Game 4. They could still make the Finals.
Milwaukee, on the other hand, has to be kicking themselves. They had plenty of chances in Game 3 to put a chokehold on the series, but instead, Giannis fouled out in the second overtime, and they could not get baskets when they absolutely needed them. They are two wins away from the finals, but it has become a best-of-three. As long as they take care of business in front of the home fans, they should be good.

Raptors at Bucks stats
Raptors: All three players on their bench mob showed up and brought their best to Game 4. VanVleet, Serge, and Norman Powell were all in double figures and combined to score 48. On a night when Pascal Siakam was in foul trouble, and Kawhi was off his game, these guys helped them in a huge way. Danny Green only scored four points, but his willingness to be aggressive was important. So was Marc Gasol’s 17-5-7, and his timely jumpers. What else could Toronto have possibly asked for last game? They did what they had to, and came out with the win.
Bucks: If your name is Eric Bledsoe and you play for the Bucks, you are not having a good time. He struggled yet again, with just five points in Game 4, logging only 20 minutes. Giannis came back to play with 25-10-5, while Khris Middleton tore it up with his 30 points. The only issue is nobody else was able to contribute much, including Malcolm Brogdon, who was even missing foul shots. When they are at home, the Bucks are in their element and seem to play their best basketball. One more home win, and they are 48 minutes from the Finals.
Raptors at Bucks H2H
Remembering back to 2015, when the Raptors made it to their first ECF, it seems nothing has changed. They looked beaten after blowing a lead in Game 1 and struggling in Game 2. But now, they have taken two in a row to even things up. Home cooking was the key, and we’ll see if they can keep it rolling to get to their first-ever Finals.
