The New Orleans Saints go on the road for the second game in a row to take on the New York Giants. The Saints and Giants are both fresh off a win last week and hope to keep the momentum going. The Saints sit at 2-1 after winning two in a row and the Giants are 1-2 fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Saints open the betting as 3.5 point favorites on the road. This seems about right as they are coming off a great offensive performance and the Giants have struggled this year. The over/under is 50 points which seems a little low as the Saints just keep scoring and the Giants seem like they are finding their own rhythm.

Saints vs. Giants Team Stats
The Saints have been scorching on offense as they gain 442 yards a game. A ton of that is through the air as Drew Brees has been torching defenses. They gain 359.3 yards a game through the air and just 82.7 yards a game on the ground. The Saints on defense give up a ton of passing yards which doesn’t help their chances of winning games. The Giants only gain 354.3 yards a game and 266 of that comes through the air. Defensively, the Giants struggle to stop the run allowing 111.3 yards a game on the ground.
The defense of the Saints is not going to get any better with the loss of Patrick Robinson. The cornerback suffered a broken ankle and will be placed on the injury reserve for the rest of the season. The secondary has been a struggle all year long and this won’t help them at all. In the last game, Drew Brees broke the record for most completions in NFL history and ran for two touchdowns for the first time in his career. The Giants made a switch at tackle and booted out Ereck Flowers. The Giants also cut tight end Kaelin Clay.
Saints vs. Giants Predictions
With how bad the Saints pass defense has been this year and how good their offense has been, I can see a ton of points being scored in this one. The Saints are going to look to pressure Eli Manning into making mistakes. They should bring a ton of rush since their secondary can’t stop anyone anyway. Look for the Saints offense to click and the Giant offense to falter under the pressure. We would take the Saints to cover and take the win.
