Cowboys vs. Eagles Head to Head

Dallas holds the all-time record against the Eagles 66-52. The last time these two teams faced off was an absolute barn-burner, as the Cowboys defeated the Eagles 6-0. The only score came on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Dak to Brice Butler. It needs to be mentioned that the Eagles did start their third-string quarterback Nate Sudfeld in that 2017 matchup. Playing in Philadelphia is never easy as it remains one of the rowdiest fanbases in the entire league.

Cowboys vs. Eagles Stats

Last week against the Titans was Amari Cooper’s first game with the Cowboys after the team dealt a first-round pick to the Raiders for the young receiver. Dak targeted Cooper early and often as this team thinks they’ve found their No. 1 receiver for the future. Cooper finished the game with 5 catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. It was a nice coming-out party for Cooper playing in front of Dallas fans for the first time. The offense still runs through Ezekiel Elliott, who had a down game for his standards carrying the ball 17 times for 61 yards. Zeke also contributed in the receiving game with 4 receptions for 51 yards. The Cowboys franchise has seen better days as Jason Garrett’s job security as head coach fades week by week. The Eagles will be showcasing their newly acquired wide receiver Golden Tate this week after trading away a third-round pick to the Lions. Tate is just another weapon at Wentz disposal as the Eagles now have one of the best receiving groups in the league between Tate, Jeffrey, Ertz, and Agholor.

Cowboys vs. Eagles News

Sean Lee is going to miss a “little bit” of time after aggravating his hamstring injury against the Titans on Monday. Lee missed Weeks 4-6 before returning in Week 7. He made it just 17 snaps on Monday before going down once again. Lee’s health was one of the main reasons the Cowboys chose to select LB Leighton Vander Esch in the first round of the draft. When the Cowboys are without Lee, their defense really feels it, as they take on the Eagles’ below-average running game on Sunday.

Cowboys vs. Eagles Predictions

The Eagles are coming off a bye and playing at home against a very disappointing Cowboys team. Eagles win big 32-10.
