| Updated: The list of footballers heading into the final year of their contracts in 2026/27 is loaded with names capable of shaking the transfer market. It includes Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, England’s record goalscorer Harry Kane, Ballon d’Or winner Rodri, and another two members of Spain’s 2026 World Cup-winning squad: Ferran Torres and Fabian Ruiz.
SportingPedia reviewed the footballers whose current deals expire in summer 2027 and focused on the most valuable names in that group – those with estimates of €30 million or more. The 14 players who meet that mark are worth €700 million combined, with Vinicius Junior alone accounting for €140 million of the total.
The Real Madrid forward stands in a category of his own. He is worth more than twice as much as second-placed Harry Kane, who is valued at €60 million, while Rodri and Ferran Torres follow at €55 million each. At club level, Real Madrid carry the biggest combined value, while the Premier League has the widest spread, with six players from six different clubs.
The Most Valuable Footballers with Expiring Contracts in 2027

Vinicius Junior is the clear leader among the players whose deals expire in summer 2027. His €140 million valuation makes him the only player in the group above €100 million and puts him €80 million clear of Harry Kane in second place.
For Real Madrid, the figure is even more important because Brahim Diaz also appears on the list at €35 million. Together, the two Madrid players are valued at €175 million, which is 25% of the full €700 million total. No other club comes close to that level of combined value.
Ballon d’Or and World Cup Winners Are Also Entering the Final Year
The World Cup angle gives the list another major storyline. Rodri, Ferran Torres and Fabian Ruiz all won the 2026 World Cup with Spain, yet all three are among the most valuable players whose club contracts expire in summer 2027.
Rodri, who won the Ballon d’Or trophy in 2024, and Ferran Torres are both valued at €55 million, placing them joint-third, while Fabian Ruiz adds another €30 million from PSG. Together, the three Spanish champions are worth €140 million – exactly the same as Vinicius Junior alone.
England’s Record Scorer is in the List
Harry Kane is another notable name on the list. The Bayern Munich striker, England’s captain and record goalscorer, is valued at €60 million, making him the second-most valuable player among those whose current deals run out in 2027.
His value also makes Bayern Munich the only Bundesliga club represented in the €30m-plus group. While the Premier League and La Liga dominate the totals, Kane ensures Germany still has one of the biggest individual names in the table.
Premier League Clubs Have the Widest Spread
The Premier League leads by volume, with six players included: Rodri, Lisandro Martinez, Gabriel Martinelli, Yasin Ayari, Curtis Jones and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Their combined market value stands at €250 million, the highest total of any league.
Unlike Real Madrid’s concentrated position, the Premier League value is spread across six clubs: Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Brighton, Liverpool and Crystal Palace. That makes England the broadest market in the list, even though La Liga comes close in total value with half as many players.
La Liga Has Fewer Players but Huge Value
La Liga has only three players in the €30m-plus group, but they are worth €230 million combined. That is just €20 million behind the Premier League despite having three fewer players.
The reason is Vinicius Junior. Add his €140 million valuation to Ferran Torres at €55 million and Brahim Diaz at €35 million, and Spain’s total becomes heavily concentrated around Real Madrid and Barcelona.
