Warren Zaire Emery will extend his contract and become the new face of PSG’s project

The news of Kylian Mbappe leaving PSG at the end of the season are still fresh, but the club is already preparing for life without him. Parisians are ready to make Warren Zaire-Emery the new face of the club’s ambitious project. Zaire-Emery will turn 18 years of age in March and operates mainly in the center of midfield. His current contract expires in 2025, but Parisians are pushing to renew it.

The youngster made his official debut for PSG on 6 August 2022, as a substitute in a 5–0 Ligue 1 win away to Clermont at the tender age of 16 years and 151 days. His impact on the field is undeniable, as he has already amassed 58 appearances across all competitions, contributing 5 goals and 6 assists. The player’s qualities did not go unnoticed by Didier Deschamps and a senior France debut came in November 2023.

PSG’s commitment to Warren Zaire-Emery is clear, having already reached a verbal agreement for a new contract, as confirmed by the player’s agent Jorge Mendes. The deal is almost ready, just awaiting a final review before being signed, demonstrating the club’s trust in Zaire-Emery as the focal point of their new project.
