Unveiled: Roberto De Zerbi has release clause active only this summer

Roberto De Zerbi is a man in demand, sought after by many top clubs in Europe, and rightfully so. In less than 2 years, the Italian specialist has transformed Brighton into one of the most entertaining teams in the Premier League. During this time, he has managed to develop players such as Leandro Trossard, Moises Caicedo, and Alexis Mac Allister, among others, all of whom were sold for hefty prices, ensuring Brighton’s financial stability for the future. One of De Zerbi’s biggest achievements at the helm of the Seagulls is participating in their inaugural UEFA tournament, made possible after clinching sixth place in the Premier League in the 2022/23 season.

Now, Fabrizio Romano reveals that De Zerbi has a release clause inserted into his contract, which runs until 2026. It is in the region of £12-13 million and active only for the upcoming summer. Roberto De Zerbi has been linked with the managerial positions at Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Liverpool recently.
