Jose Mourinho wants Federico Chiesa at Fenerbahce. According to reports in Turkey, he has insisted to the management that they sign the Italy international from Liverpool this summer.

The former Roma and Inter manager is pushing for the club to provide him with more options on the wings to allow for greater tactical flexibility. A Spor claims that Mourinho has identified Chiesa as a key transfer target for next season.

The 27-year-old won the Premier League title with Liverpool, although he has rarely featured since his move from Juventus in August 2024. He has made just 12 appearances in official matches, including four in the Premier League, totalling only 33 minutes of action in the competition. So far, Chiesa has recorded two goals and two assists with the English champions.

Despite his injury struggles, the Italian international’s talent remains clear, and Fenerbahce and Mourinho are hopeful they can bring out the best in the 27-year-old. Liverpool paid €12 million plus performance-related bonuses to sign him from Juventus, and A Spor reports that the club is now expecting around €10 million to sell him this summer.
