  • Manchester City made their first official offer for Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders
  • Milan demand significantly more than the proposed €60M package

Manchester City have submitted their opening bid for AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, who is among Pep Guardiola’s top transfer priorities this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the offer is worth around €60 million, including bonuses. However, this amount does not satisfy the Rossoneri, who are holding out for a much higher fee. Circulating reports suggest that Milan are demanding between €75 and €80 million for the player they consider their best performer of the season.

Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days, with City pushing to secure Reijnders’ signature before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup. It is also claimed that the player has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions.

The 25-year-old began his professional career at AZ Alkmaar, where he rose through the ranks before moving to Milan in 2023. He quickly established himself as a key figure in midfield and played a vital role in Milan’s campaign this past season. Reijnders scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 53 appearances across all competitions for Milan during the 2024–25 season.
