The 52-year-old has worked in various roles across multiple clubs throughout his career, including as a scout for Arsenal and in director positions at Liverpool, Tottenham, Saint-Etienne, and Fenerbahce. Most recently, he was president of Toulouse but resigned at the end of May to take up his new position in Turin.
Juventus CEO Scanavino commented: “We are pleased to welcome Damien and wish him success. His experience and professionalism will play a key role in Juventus’ path to further strengthening and development.”
Among Juventus’ top priorities is appointing a new head coach. Igor Tudor will lead the team at the Club World Cup, but his future remains uncertain. Antonio Conte, who had been linked with a return to Turin, chose to stay at Napoli, while Gian Piero Gasperini, another target for the Bianconeri, opted for Roma.
