Achraf Hakimi put the French side ahead in the 12th minute, and in the 20th minute rising star Desire Doue netted the second goal. In the 63rd, Doue scored again, and ten minutes later Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also found the back of the net. Near the end, Senny Mayulu added one more (86’).
This was PSG’s second Champions League final after losing to Bayern five years ago. Overall, Luis Enrique’s side recorded a phenomenal season, collecting four more trophies on the domestic stage.
Inter remain with three European titles but now also have four lost finals — two of them coming in the last three years. The Milan club end the campaign empty-handed.
