Jadon Sancho has confirmed that he will leave Chelsea at the end of his loan spell and return to Manchester United. The Blues have opted not to trigger the £25 million buyout clause for the player but will pay £5 million in compensation to part ways with him. According to Sky Sports, Chelsea and Sancho failed to reach an agreement regarding the player’s wages.

Manchester United signed the winger in 2021 in an £85 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund. However, he failed to live up to expectations, scoring just 12 goals in 83 appearances.
