Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of top Argentine talent Franco Mastantuono. The young winger will become an official Los Blancos player on August 14, when he turns 18, with a contract running until June 30, 2031.

Mastantuono is a product of River Plate’s academy, where his star rose in the first team over the past few months. The youngster broke several records with his performances during the last campaign and attracted interest from a number of European giants who lined up for his signature. He also became the youngest player to ever feature for the Argentina national team.

Mastantuono will remain part of River Plate until mid-August and will be with the Argentine giants during the Club World Cup in the USA, which starts tomorrow. He has made a total of 61 appearances for “los millonarios,” scoring 10 goals and registering 7 assists.

Real Madrid will pay the player’s release clause of €45 million, which is also the highest in the history of Argentine football. Franco Mastantuono becomes the third addition for the team this summer after the deals for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.
