Real Madrid’s management has reached an agreement with Brahim Diaz to extend the player’s contract. Diaz’ current deal runs until the summer of 2027, but it will now be extended with improved financial terms on the back of his increased importance following excellent recent performances. He is currently part of the Madrid squad preparing for their debut in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. The first match for Los Blancos is scheduled for Wednesday at 22:00 against Al Hilal.

The 25-year-old wide midfielder has grown in form and significance for Real Madrid over the past two seasons, and that will be reflected in the new agreement. Diaz last renewed his deal in the summer of 2023, upon returning from a two-year loan at Milan. The Moroccan international registered six goals and seven assists in 51 appearances during the past campaign for Los Blancos. So far, he has also delivered an impressive record of eight goals and two assists in 10 matches for the national team of Morocco.
