The Gunners have submitted an improved bid for Gyokeres. The London side is now ready to pay €65 million as a guaranteed amount, along with an additional €15 million in performance-based bonuses.
Last season, Gyokeres played 52 matches across all competitions, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists. His current contract with Sporting runs until the summer of 2028.
Meanwhile, Arsenal officially announced the transfer of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. Zubimendi, who has signed a five-year deal, becomes the club’s second summer signing after Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was brought in from Chelsea for £5 million.
