Al Hilal prepare major move for Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko

    Key Takeaways:

  • Al Hilal plan to submit a major offer for Benjamin Sesko in the coming days
  • Arsenal are growing hesitant due to Leipzig’s €80M asking price
  • The Saudi club previously failed to land Victor Osimhen despite big-money bids

Al Hilal’s management is preparing to enter the race for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko and intends to submit a substantial offer in the coming days, according to British outlet The Sun. The Slovenian striker has been one of Arsenal’s main transfer targets so far, but the Gunners appear increasingly hesitant to complete the deal, as they are unwilling to meet the €80 million asking price set by the Bundesliga side.

The Saudi club had previously launched several ambitious offers for Victor Osimhen, who now looks likely to remain at Galatasaray. After failing to secure the Nigerian international, Al Hilal are continuing their search for a new central striker.

The €80 million fee for Sesko would not be a problem for the Riyadh-based club, who were ready to pay €75 million for Osimhen. Additionally, the Slovenian’s wage demands are not expected to pose any difficulty for Al Hilal.
