  • Chelsea are open to a sale for €25–30 million after his Juventus loan
  • Bournemouth and Wolves are also showing interest in the Portuguese player

Atletico Madrid are preparing an offer for Chelsea defender Renato Veiga. Diego Simeone is continuing to work on the summer recruitment and now wants to strengthen the defence, with the Portuguese international emerging as a target, reveals journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Last season, Veiga played on loan at Juventus, where he left a good impression. His loan contract, however, did not include a buyout clause, and he returned to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

The initial expectation was that Enzo Maresca would give him a chance in the new campaign. However, the latest reports now claim that Chelsea are not against selling the player if they receive an offer in the region of €25–30 million.

Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation closely and have already made an initial inquiry about a possible transfer. In addition to the Spanish side, Bournemouth and Wolverhampton are also interested in the defender.
