Galatasaray officially signed Victor Osimhen from Napoli. The Istanbul giants will pay €75 million for the striker’s rights, which marks a record for Turkish football.

The Nigerian international signed a four-year contract, while the reigning Italian champions retain 10 percent of any future transfer fee. The 26-year-old striker will receive a salary of €15 million per season, after the two clubs reached an agreement approximately ten days ago.

Victor Osimhen will also be entitled to a €1 million loyalty bonus each year and an additional €5 million as compensation for the use of his name and image in Galatasaray’s branding and various activities.

Napoli also confirmed the parameters of the deal between the two clubs. Until now, the most expensive transfer in Turkish football was carried out by Fenerbahce, who signed Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla for €20 million around a year ago.
