Barcelona recorded another emphatic victory in their summer friendlies after thrashing South Korean side Daegu FC 5-0 away from home. This was the third and final game of the Spanish team’s tour in Asia, after which they will return to Europe.

Marcus Rashford scored his debut Barcelona goal and the last in the match in the 65th minute. Before him, Gavi (21’, 45’) struck twice, while Robert Lewandowski (27’) and 17-year-old academy product Toni Fernandez (54’) also found the net.

Earlier in the tour, the Catalans had defeated Vissel Kobe 3-1 and FC Seoul 7-0.

Barcelona have only one match remaining before the start of the La Liga season — against Como on 10 August in the Joan Gamper Trophy. The Spanish champions will begin their title defence on 16 August with an away trip to Mallorca.
