Juventus Target Sorloth in Direct Negotiations
As reported by Sky Sport Italia’s transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have entered into direct talks with Atletico Madrid to pursue centre-forward Alexander Sorloth. The Bianconeri are currently discussing terms with the 30-year-old Norwegian international. Sorloth has also been associated with potential moves to Milan and Barcelona, the latter seeking a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Sorloth moved to Atletico Madrid from Villarreal in the summer of 2024 for a fee of €32m. During the recent season, he netted 20 goals across 54 competitive appearances for Atletico Madrid. His current contract at the Wanda Metropolitano is due to run until June 2028.
Openda Considered by Multiple European Sides
Sky Sport Italia further reports that Lois Openda has attracted attention from clubs including Nottingham Forest, Eintracht Frankfurt, and AS Monaco. The Belgian forward, aged 26, has struggled to make an impact since his high-profile €45m transfer from RB Leipzig, managing only two goals in 34 outings. Nottingham Forest, among others, are contemplating a move for the striker as he seeks to revive his form.
