Chalobah Draws Inter’s Interest as Chelsea Name Their Price

The information, cited by Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, indicates that negotiations could soon begin, with Chelsea setting a valuation of €35m for the England international.

Chelsea Reject Como’s €30m Approach
Interest in Chalobah is not limited to Inter. Como have already tabled a formal bid, offering €30m inclusive of add-ons. However, Chelsea turned down the offer, remaining firm on their €35m asking price for the centre-back.
Inter’s Defensive Plans and Right Flank Targets
Following Marco Palestra’s decision to join Chelsea rather than renew with the reigning Serie A champions, Inter have increased their search for summer additions both in central defence and on the right flank. While Chalobah remains of interest in central defence, attention on the right wing-back position has turned to Anan Khalaili of Union Saint-Gilloise.
Sky Sport Italia reports that negotiations with Khalaili’s representatives have been positive in recent days. Inter must meet a minimum fee of €25m in order to sign the 21-year-old for the forthcoming campaign.
