Premier League Giants Intensify Interest in Bouaddi

Ayyoub Bouaddi, who attracted interest from top European sides after playing in the UEFA Champions League at 16, continues to be a transfer target, especially for clubs in the Premier League. Manchester City have been actively pursuing the Moroccan international this week, joined by rivals Arsenal and Manchester United. Paris Saint-Germain, by contrast, are reportedly not seeking an additional midfielder in this window.

Bouaddi further enhanced his profile with his performances for Morocco in North America, particularly during an impressive showing against Brazil, prompting Lille to set his valuation at €100m. Manchester City reportedly have no plans to loan the 18-year-old back to Lille if a deal is agreed.

Létang Urges Continuity for Bouaddi at Lille

Despite mounting transfer speculation, Lille president Olivier Létang emphasised his desire for the young midfielder to stay at the Stade Pierre Mauroy for at least another year. In a Thursday press conference, Létang remarked:

“We have seen each other since his return from the World Cup. I can’t say what was said. Everything is possible, but my opinion is that he should stay with us another season. My conviction is that there is a strong chance that he stays with us and he would be very happy to do so,” said Létang.
