PSG Close In on Ferran Torres
Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona are reported to have struck an agreement over the transfer of Ferran Torres (26). The reigning double European champions are now expected to finalise the Spain international’s move shortly, with the fee set at €50m.
Torres had already agreed to join PSG several days ago and is set to commit to a five-year contract running until 2032. If completed, the move will make him the club’s fourth signing of the summer, following Alessandro Longoni (18), Lucas Digne (33) and Maghnes Akliouche (24).

Torres’ Career Record and International Impact
Developed through the academy system at Valencia CF, Torres left Spain in the summer of 2020 to join Manchester City. Two years later, he returned to La Liga with Barcelona, where he has since made over 200 appearances in all competitions, scoring 65 goals and providing 23 assists.
During his time with Barcelona, Torres has won several trophies, including three league titles. At international level, he has earned 65 caps for Spain and made history by scoring the only goal in the last World Cup final.

PSG are also reportedly moving closer to an agreement with Ajax for Mika Godts. An offer of €50m, excluding bonuses, could be enough to meet the demands of the Amsterdam-based club, while the parties involved expect a major breakthrough in negotiations today.
Godts has been reported to be on the verge of joining PSG for several days and is said to have already reached an agreement with the Parisian club. The Belgian, who was born in Leuven, is regarded as one of the red-and-blue management’s top priorities.

Godts has made four appearances for Ajax since the start of the season and has already been decisive on four occasions, recording one goal and three assists.
