Premier League Interest Builds Around Brest Defender
Brest centre-back Raphael Le Guen is attracting increasing attention from the Premier League, with several London clubs monitoring the 19-year-old defender.
Le Guen entered Brest’s senior set-up last season and went on to feature six times in Ligue 1. With departures at the club this summer potentially opening up more space in the squad, further first-team opportunities could arrive for the French defender. That, however, depends on whether he stays with Les Ty-Zéfs, as interest in him continues to gather pace.

Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Fulham in the Frame
Crystal Palace are among the clubs pursuing Le Guen, who remains tied to the Breton club until the summer of 2029. He could act as a direct replacement for another Frenchman at Selhurst Park, with Maxence Lacroix having left Crystal Palace for Chelsea this summer.
Arsenal are also in the picture. The Gunners are still considering the possibility of adding another centre-back and have identified Le Guen as a target. Fulham are likewise tracking him, with their intention to reinforce that area of the pitch described as no secret.
At 1.98 cm tall, Le Guen is as a player who could offer aerial presence in the Premier League.
Fulham’s Wider Defensive Shortlist
Fulham’s search for centre-back options extends beyond Le Guen. The Cottagers also have Stade Rennais defender Abdelhamid Ait-Boudlal on their shortlist, while Olympique de Marseille’s Leonardo Balerdi has also been offered up.
