Como Prepare New Kean Offer as Forest and Palace Chase Fiorentina’s Fagioli

Fiorentina striker Moise Kean
  • Como are preparing a fresh approach for Moise Kean, with Fiorentina seeking either a permanent sale or a loan containing an obligation to buy
  • Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are interested in Nicolò Fagioli, while Fiorentina are considering Lucas Torreira as a possible midfield replacement
  • Fiorentina are also working on a deal for Ernest Poku, monitoring several midfield options, and waiting to see whether Nottingham Forest formalise their interest in Dodo

Fiorentina Set Kean Terms as Como Prepare Fresh Proposal

Como are weighing up how to structure their next proposal for Moise Kean, with Cesc Fabregas strongly pushing for the club’s hierarchy to increase their effort to sign the Fiorentina centre-forward. The valuation stands at €40 million, but Fiorentina’s priority is not only the headline figure. The club want security over the deal structure, meaning either an outright transfer or a loan that includes an obligation to buy, at most linked to conditions that would be simple to satisfy.

Fiorentina do not intend to let the matter drag on. Fabio Paratici wants clarity, in one direction or the other, by the end of the weekend. That urgency is tied to the need to replace Kean if he leaves. Andrea Pinamonti of Sassuolo remains the leading candidate in that scenario. He is a player Fabio Grosso values, is regarded as dependable, and would offer cover for Mateo Pellegrino.

Poku Leads The Wide-Attacking Shortlist

Fiorentina’s search for a winger is centred on Ernest Poku. The 2004-born Bayer Leverkusen player has moved to the top of the club’s list as they look to complete the attacking department. Fiorentina already have a basic agreement with the player over a contract running until 2031, but the agreement with Bayer Leverkusen has not yet been reached.

The German club are pushing for a permanent transfer worth €20-25 million. Fiorentina are assessing their next move, and a loan that includes an option to buy at a higher figure has not been ruled out. Talks between the clubs are continuing, and the coming days could be decisive. Matias Soulé remains in the background, although he does not currently appear inclined to join Fiorentina.

Premier League Interest Opens A Possible Fagioli Exit Route

Nicolò Fagioli’s future is still under evaluation because he is not fully convinced about staying at Fiorentina. Premier League interest could create an opportunity, and Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are said to be preparing offers for the midfielder.

A move abroad would fit within Fiorentina’s wider transfer strategy this summer, rather than being a scenario the club would necessarily oppose. Fagioli joined Fiorentina from Juventus in a deal completed last year and quickly became an important presence in the Viola midfield. He impressed sufficiently to earn praise, even without an international call-up. Now 25, he would represent a significant midfield addition for either Nottingham Forest or Crystal Palace as they look to strengthen before the new Premier League season.

Torreira, Thorstvedt And Other Midfield Threads

If an offer arrives for Fagioli, Fiorentina are ready to look at Lucas Torreira as a solution in midfield, with the coming days expected to be important for determining whether that route develops. Torreira has asked to leave Galatasaray and has offered himself to Fiorentina. A possible loan with an option to buy is under consideration, and a player with the qualities of the 1996-born Uruguayan would fit what Grosso is seeking as he looks for more physical strength in midfield.

Paratici would also like to submit an official bid to Sassuolo for Kristian Thorstvedt, who remains a concrete target. Fiorentina are additionally monitoring the situations of Marco Brescianini and Giovanni Fabbian. Before moving seriously on further additions, the club must reduce the size of the midfield group and decide whether to pursue Torreira’s return in earnest.

Dodo Draws Nottingham Forest Attention

Nottingham Forest have been following Dodo for several days. The English club asked about the Brazilian’s registration, and Fiorentina responded that the required price is €10 million plus bonuses. The former Shakhtar Donetsk player’s contract expires in June next year, although if he stays, a one-year renewal is ready in order to ease mutual tensions.

Fortini Chooses Serie A Route With Torino

Niccolò Fortini has extended his Fiorentina contract until 2030, enabling him to move to Torino on a paid loan worth €1 million. The deal includes an option to buy set at €9 million. Hull City also showed interest, but the 2006-born player ultimately preferred to remain in Serie A.
