Mbaye Completes Villa Park Switch
Aston Villa have completed the signing of Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG, with both clubs confirming the move for the 18-year-old winger. The agreement between the clubs is worth €55m, bringing the Senegal international to Villa Park on a five-year deal.
Villa secured Mbaye despite interest from RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Liverpool. The winger will take the No. 19 shirt as he begins the next stage of his career in the Premier League.

PSG Pathway and Playing-Time Issue
Mbaye came through the PSG Academy and featured 42 times in all competitions for Luis Enrique’s side. Across those appearances, he scored four goals and supplied four assists.
PSG’s signings of Ferran Torres, Mika Godts and Maghnes Akliouche persuaded Mbaye that he needed to move on in search of greater playing time. PSG had allowed the Senegalese international to undergo a medical with Aston Villa on Saturday.
Potential Debuts and Champions League Reunion
Mbaye could make his Premier League debut on Saturday against Hull City. He could also come up against his former club in the Champions League, with Aston Villa scheduled to host PSG on December 8 in Matchday 6.
Harwood-Bellis Deal Also Moving Towards Confirmation
Aston Villa are set to confirm the signing of Southampton centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis, with a deal and medical reported as complete. The fee is £25m plus £5m, and he is expected to sign a five-year contract.
The 24-year-old is a capped England international and has captained Southampton many times. His departure leaves Southampton with a gap they must address before the deadline, while Villa gain a defender known for bringing calm build-up play from the back.
