Awaiting Official Communication
While the contract extension is reportedly finalised, Romano’s post specifies that Barcelona may issue an official statement and hold a formal signing ceremony as early as Friday, should the necessary paperwork be processed without delay. However, confirmation of either step has yet to be provided by the club at this stage.
Key Details and Pending Confirmation
The only element confirmed in the report is the six-year duration of the new contract, which commits Raphinha to Barcelona until June 2030. The report refrains from disclosing any additional terms regarding financial conditions, release clauses, or broader strategic details. No official comment has yet emerged from either Barcelona or Raphinha themselves.

Next Steps to Monitor
The primary development to watch is whether Barcelona proceeds with the anticipated announcement and ceremonial event on Friday, depending on the finalisation of the necessary documentation. Until an official statement is made, this contract remains confirmed solely through Romano’s reporting rather than formal club communication.
