Supporters Eager for Change
Many Chelsea supporters hold Estevao in high regard and believe his flair could offer the squad a unique dimension. They have voiced their disappointment, as reported by “The Sun”, over his ongoing omission from the first-team, expressing a preference to witness his skills on the pitch rather than observing from the sidelines.

Future Prospects in Question
This season, Estevao has only featured for 163 minutes across all competitions, with 125 of those coming in the Carabao Cup. His involvement came to a halt at Anfield, where manager Xabi Alonso did not select him from the bench. Reports suggest that unless Estevao’s situation improves, a move away from Chelsea appears increasingly probable.
Manager’s Perspective
Xabi Alonso addressed the matter in his press conference following the defeat to Liverpool, stating: “I understand his situation and that he certainly could have been happier.”
He added: “Every player wants to play, and wants to be part of the team. We have had some intense matches, and every player will have his chance. I am sure that Estevao will get his chance. This is my responsibility, and we have to deal with it.”
