    Key Takeaways:

  • Indiana Pacers crushed Milwaukee Bucks 129-103 to take a 3-1 series lead

Indiana Pacers are on the verge of reaching the quarterfinals of the NBA Playoffs after dismantling the Milwaukee Bucks 129-103 in Game 4. The win gave the Pacers a 3-1 lead in their first-round series, putting them one victory away from advancing. Game 5 is set to take place in Indianapolis on April 29.

The Pacers dominated from start to finish, outscoring the Bucks in every quarter (30:24, 33:28, 38:32, 28:19) and showcasing remarkable team balance. Eight Indiana players finished in double digits, with center Myles Turner leading the way with 23 points. Andrew Nembhard added 20 points, while Tyrese Haliburton delivered an impressive double-double with 17 points and 15 assists.

For Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo battled hard and recorded 28 points and 15 rebounds. However, the Bucks suffered a major blow when star guard Damian Lillard exited after just six minutes of action, visibly struggling before being taken straight to the locker room. His injury further dampened Milwaukee’s hopes of mounting a comeback in the series.

Following the game, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers spoke emotionally about Lillard’s situation, saying:
“This is a tough one, honestly. Blood clot, followed by [Achilles]… He’s just a great freakin’ dude, as a teammate and a father. No one deserves it.”

The Pacers will now aim to close out the series at home, while the Bucks face an uphill battle without one of their key leaders.
