    Key Takeaways:

  • Antonio Conte is expected to leave Napoli, regardless of the Serie A title outcome
  • Juventus are prepared to bring him back after his previous success between 2011 and 2014
  • Victor Osimhen is on Juve’s radar, while Massimiliano Allegri could replace Conte in Napoli

The return of Antonio Conte to Juventus is looking more and more likely. One of the leading football insiders in Italy, Alfredo Pedulla, explained the current situation. Conte is planning to leave Napoli, no matter whether the team wins the title after the final round in Serie A. The coach is due to hold talks with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, but is not expected to change his decision.

For weeks now, reports in Italy have suggested that Juventus directors are ready to open negotiations with Conte. The club are pleased with the work done by current coach Igor Tudor and treat him with respect, but they do not want to miss the opportunity to secure the services of Conte, who led the Bianconeri to three straight league titles from 2011 to 2014.

If Antonio Conte returns to Juventus, it will be his second spell in charge of the Turin giants, having previously led them to three straight Serie A titles between 2011 and 2014. He also spent over a decade at the club as a player, winning multiple domestic and European trophies.

Pedulla also revealed that Juventus will try to sign Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker is owned by Napoli but spent the past season on loan at Galatasaray, where he won a domestic double in Turkey.

If Conte departs Naples, the leading candidate to replace him is Massimiliano Allegri. The former Juventus coach has already told De Laurentiis he would be open to a potential offer.
