Arsenal have reached an agreement on personal terms with Benjamin Sesko, after RB Leipzig revealed their final demands to part ways with the Slovenian forward.

The 22-year-old Sesko had an outstanding 2024/2025 season at Leipzig, scoring 21 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions. He joined the German club in the summer of 2023, after Leipzig paid €24 million to acquire him from their sister team Red Bull Salzburg. In total, the Slovenian has scored 39 goals and provided 8 assists in 87 matches during his time in Germany.

Now, the Bundesliga side are insisting on a significant offer that reflects the player’s current market value. While Arsenal have not yet submitted an official bid, they are said to be ready to meet Leipzig’s demands. The German club is expecting a concrete offer in the coming days, and there is growing confidence that a full agreement could be finalised before Arsenal begin their pre-season preparations.

Sesko is reported to remain calm amid the speculation, but he is said to be intrigued by the idea of representing Arsenal on the biggest continental stage – the UEFA Champions League.
