According to the report, the Italian club is still negotiating with Liverpool over the transfer fee. The English giants are demanding €50 million, while Napoli are willing to pay up to €43 million.
Nunez has already rejected several lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, preferring to remain in Europe and continue his career at a high level in Serie A.
During the 2024/25 season, the 26-year-old forward made 47 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists. Although he failed to fully meet expectations at Anfield, Napoli’s interest is serious, with Antonio Conte viewing him as a key figure in his attacking plans for the new season.
