    Key Takeaways:

  • Ronaldo signed a new contract with Al Nassr until 2027 worth €400M and 5% club ownership
  • His previous deal was set to expire on June 30, sparking rumours of a possible departure
  • In two and a half years, the 40-year-old scored 93 goals in 105 games but did not win a major trophy

Cristiano Ronaldo’s stay at Al Nassr continues after the club officially announced his new contract. It runs until 2027, during which the striker will earn €400 million and receive around 5% ownership in the club.

His previous deal was set to expire in a few days — on June 30 — and the uncertainty had sparked rumours of a possible departure. However, two weeks ago, the player himself confirmed he would remain with the Saudi Arabian club, where he has spent the last two and a half years.

During that time, the 40-year-old has scored 93 goals in 105 matches for Al Nassr, though he has not won a major trophy.

“Al Nassr forever. A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together,” the Portuguese star said.
