Bayern reach personal terms with Woltemade as Stuttgart brace for summer offer

Nick Woltemade celebrates after scoring in the Euro U21 Championship for Germany

    Key Takeaways:

  • Nick Woltemade has agreed to join Bayern Munich and settled on a five-year contract
  • Stuttgart are likely to demand at least €50M, but his refusal to renew may lower the asking price
  • The striker impressed with his goals at the U21 Euros and standout 2024/25 season

The impressive form of Nick Woltemade during the past season and his goals at the European Under-21 Championship have generated major interest from several top clubs across the continent, but all signs point to the striker staying in Germany and wearing the jersey of Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians have been impressed by the qualities of the 23-year-old and are planning to bring him in this summer. Journalist Florian Plettenberg confirmed that Bayern have made contact with Woltemade in recent days, and the player has agreed to move to the Allianz Arena. Both sides have reached an agreement on a five-year contract, with the striker’s personal terms already finalised.

So far, negotiations with Stuttgart have not yet begun. The Swabians are unlikely to let go of their star forward for less than €50 million, but the fact that Woltemade has rejected an offer to extend his contract could pressure them into accepting a lower bid.

The striker’s current deal with Stuttgart runs until 2028 and does not contain a release clause.
