Roma’s first-choice goalkeeper Mile Svilar has signed a new contract with the club that will keep him at the Stadio Olimpico until 2030. The Serbian international will now earn €3.5 million annually, with the possibility of an additional €500,000 in performance-based bonuses.

Born in 1999, Svilar was one of Roma’s standout performers last season, registering 16 clean sheets in Serie A. In 2025 alone, the team has already kept 11 clean sheets across all competitions—more than any other side in Europe’s top five leagues. Svilar also leads all goalkeepers with the highest save percentage this calendar year, stopping 85% of the shots he has faced (minimum 10 matches).

His performances earned him the award for Best Goalkeeper in Serie A at the end of the campaign.

Svilar joined the Giallorossi in 2022 from Benfica and has since made 88 appearances for the club in all competitions.
