Frankfurt Push For Kalimuendo Return
Eintracht Frankfurt are working on a move to re-sign Nottingham Forest striker Arnaud Kalimuendo, with other clubs also reported to have an interest in the 24-year-old forward.
Kalimuendo spent the second half of last season on loan with the German team and made a notable impact in the Bundesliga. Across 19 league appearances, the French striker was decisive seven times, scoring six goals and providing one assist.
Forest, however, are not preparing to let the Suresnes-born player leave cheaply. Kalimuendo remains under contract until 2030, and the East Midlands club are demanding a fee in excess of €30m before agreeing to a sale. They are also rejecting the idea of a loan deal with an option to buy, with their stance centred on a permanent transfer.
The striker joined Nottingham Forest from Stade Rennais for €30m last summer, but his time in England has proved difficult so far. He has scored twice in 16 appearances for the Reds, with four of those outings coming as a starter.

Munoz Reunites With Glasner At The City Ground
Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Colombian right-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace, with the move announced on Monday. The 30-year-old has signed a three-year contract, while Forest also hold an option to extend the deal by a further year.
Munoz said the opportunity to work again with Oliver Glasner was one of the major factors behind his decision to follow the Austrian coach to the City Ground. Glasner left Selhurst Park for Nottingham Forest at the end of last season after guiding Palace to their first major silverware by winning the FA Cup and UEFA Conference League in consecutive years.
“I think that Oliver Glasner is special, I have a very good relationship with him and we did big things together, it was an incredibly special period,” Munoz told Forest’s website.
“He’s a tireless worker, he’s a winner, and I think that’s a part of the decision I’ve made – I know him and I know how he works, how his assistants are, and really they all have the same mentality and I’m on the same wavelength.”
Performance Profile And International Record
Munoz was an important figure in Palace’s period of success under Glasner. Last season, he made 46 appearances in all competitions, including 29 in the Premier League, and contributed four goals and three assists.
He has also made 51 appearances for Colombia and was part of the squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Forest’s Chief Football Officer, George Syrianos, welcomed the signing and highlighted the defender’s pedigree.

Forest’s Early-Season Context
Forest drew with Liverpool at the weekend after losing to Leeds United on the opening day of the Premier League season. Munoz could make his debut against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
