Grealish Set For Everton Return
Everton have reached an agreement with Manchester City for Jack Grealish to rejoin the Merseyside club on a season-long loan, with the 30-year-old due to undergo a medical at the Toffees.
The move is expected to be finalised before today’s transfer deadline, giving Everton a major attacking reinforcement as they reshape their squad late in the window.
Grealish previously spent a significant part of last season at Everton under a similar loan arrangement. During that spell, he scored twice and registered six assists in 20 appearances before a foot injury in January brought his campaign to a premature end.
The England winger had attracted interest from other clubs, including his boyhood side Aston Villa, but his preference was to return to Everton.

City Career And Recent Involvement
Grealish joined Manchester City from Aston Villa for £100m in August 2021. During his time at City, he has won three Premier Leagues, a Champions League and an FA Cup.
He has made two appearances for Enzo Maresca’s side this season. Grealish came on as a substitute in their Community Shield defeat by Arsenal and also appeared from the bench in the Premier League opening win against Bournemouth.
However, he was not involved in City’s 4-1 victory at Crystal Palace on Friday.
Everton’s Attacking Rebuild Continues
Everton’s move for Grealish comes with winger Iliman Ndiaye, 26, expected to complete a £65m transfer to Manchester City. That potential departure has increased the urgency for the Toffees to strengthen their forward options before the deadline.
The club are also advancing a deal for Monaco and USA forward Folarin Balogun. Everton have agreed personal terms with Folarin Balogun on four year deal with one year option.
A club-to-club agreement has been completed at €45m plus €5m add-ons and a sell-on clause as revealed, while the USMNT striker has been authorised to travel for his medical.
Patterson Nears Torino Move
Everton defender Nathan Patterson could also leave before Tuesday’s transfer deadline. The 24-year-old Scotland international has been the subject of talks with Serie A side Torino.
Everton and Torino have now reached an agreement for Patterson, with Torino set to pay €1M for 70% of the player’s rights. Patterson has arrived in Italy to undergo his medical.
Earlier discussions had left it unclear whether any transfer would be a loan or a permanent move, but the latest information confirms an agreement between the clubs.
