The Italian has long been linked with Brazil’s managerial post, but he has never publicly confirmed such stories and has always claimed that he is happy in Madrid. The love between Ancelotti and the club is mutual, with Los Blancos’ fans and players clearly prefering him to stay. In his two spells in the Spanish capital, Ancelotti has led Real Madrid to two Champions League titles in 2014 and 2022, one LaLiga trophy in 2022, and two Spanish Cups among others.
Kylian Mbappe’s future will also be a central topic in Real Madrid’s board room. The French player was extremely close to join the club in the summer of 2022, but instead Mbappe opted to extend his PSG contract. Without a doubt, that move would have implecations in future talks between the parties, with Florentino Perez being renowned for his hard stance when it comes to negotiating.
