Troubled Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is on the brink of returning to Borussia Dortmund on loan. Numerous sources including Fabrizio Romano report that the 23 year old is more than willing to take the step and go back to the German team where he rose to prominence.

Sancho is a product of Manchester City’s academy, but moved to Dortmund at the tender age of 17 in search for more chances to break in the first team. He enjoyed 4 seasons and was sold to Manchester United in the summer of 2021 for a whopping €85 million but struggled to replicate his BVB form in the first season with the Red Devils. In September 2023 he publicly claimed that team’s manager Eric Ten Hag has been using him as a scapegoat for a long time, and since then Sancho has not played a single minute.
Jadon Sancho was signed by Manchester United with big hopes but his stats for the team show 82 games with a return of 12 goals and 6 assists.
