Struggling Lyon trying to sign Arnaut Danjuma

Lyon is negotiating for the transfer of Arnaut Danjuma reports Fabrizio Romano. The winger is currently playing for Everton on loan from Villarreal and the operation would not be easy, as there are many sides involved. Danjuma has already agreed to move to Ligue 1 in search of more playing time, as he has been on the field for 827 minutes with the Everton shirt this season.

Even though the Dutch attacker has participated in 18 matches across all competitions, his involvements have come mainly from the bench, as he has started only in the most recent of Everton’s previous 16 games. Danjuma has scored 2 goals this campaign – one in the Premier League and one in EFL Cup. He has represented the Netherlands senior team 6 times in total and made his international debut in 2018. Danjuma’s last international call-up came in March of 2022. The potential transfer to Lyon might provide the attacker with the perfect stage to reinvigorate his career and with a solid performances we might even see him at Euro 2024.
