A special night in Madrid: Endrick debuts with a goal in his first match at Santiago Bernabeu

The Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, the home of Real Madrid, hosted last night’s friendly game between Spain and Brazil. The encounter ended in an entertaining 3-3 draw, but it was a special occasion for Los Blancos’ fans as they got to see a player who will be joining the team this summer for the first time in action. Selecao’s 17-year-old talent Endrick will join Real Madrid’s ranks in a few months’ time, with his transfer having been agreed upon since December 2022.

On Tuesday night, he started on the bench despite scoring the only goal in Brazil’s 1-0 victory against England three days prior. Endrick was subbed on for the second half of the match and needed just five minutes to find the back of the Spanish net, equalizing to make it 2-2. The other Real Madrid players, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, were replaced in the 71st and 82nd minutes, respectively, which meant that Los Blancos’ three Selecao stars were present together on the field for the first time in history, spending 26 minutes together. After the game ended, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, went to congratulate his Brazilian stars and then left after getting Rodrygo’s shirt.
