Ancelotti: The ball is in love with Arda Guler

In the aftermath of Real Madrid’s emphatic 5-0 victory over Cadiz, manager Carlo Ancelotti had high praise for the young Turkish talent, Arda Guler. The match, which saw Jude Bellingham score one and assist another two goals, and Vinicius Junior net a brace, also featured Guler’s brilliant contribution. Guler entered the field in the 62nd minute, replacing Eduardo Camavinga, and scored the game’s last goal in the 81st minute, extending his LaLiga tally to four goals in just three starts.

Ancelotti was over the top when discussing Guler, highlighting not just his football skills but also the bond he has formed with other team members. “The squad loves Arda Guler very much, we are very happy that he’s there” said Ancelotti. He further added, “He has a gift, he scores goals even when he doesn’t deserve it! I think it’s because the ball is in love with Arda.”

Guler’s rise has been marked by patience and perseverance. Despite reports in April suggesting he might seek a loan move, Guler has never requested to leave Real Madrid and his patience has paid off, as the Real Madrid staff are extremely happy with his development.
