Busy first days for Maresca at Chelsea

Chelsea’s new manager, Enzo Maresca, is already making waves in his first days at the club. One of the team’s captains, Conor Gallagher, expressed his excitement about working with Maresca, saying, “Myself and everyone at Chelsea are excited and happy to work with Enzo Maresca. We want to get Chelsea back to where they belong!”

Adding to the buzz, Chelsea is set to finalize the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham. Adarabioyo joins as a free agent, having already completed his medical tests. This move is expected to bolster Chelsea’s defensive options, providing the team with depth and experience.

However, while Gallagher is enthusiastic about the new manager, his future at the club remains uncertain. Chelsea is prepared to entertain offers for Gallagher, valuing him at over £50 million. With Aston Villa, Tottenham, and a club from abroad showing interest, Gallagher could follow in the footsteps of Mason Mount, who left the club for Manchester Untied last summer. As of now, no negotiations have taken place.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Sesko is carefully considering his next move. He has a new contract proposal from RB Leipzig, and turned down a €30 million net salary offer from Saudi Arabia. Chelsea, along with Manchester United and Arsenal, has approached him since March and April, indicating a strong interest in the promising young striker.
