Spain’s Oyarzabal shines in comprehensive victory, teams warming-up before Euro 24

Spain defeated Andorra 5-0 in a friendly played at Estadio Nuevo Vivero yesterday. Real Sociedad’s forward Mikel Oyarzabal was the star of the night, scoring a 20-minute hat-trick after coming off the bench. Ayoze Perez and Ferran Torres also got their names on the score sheet in Spain’s penultimate match before the start of Euro 2024. La Roja will face Northern Ireland on Saturday before flying off to Germany in pursuit of their third continental trophy.

In other friendly games across Europe, France recorded a comprehensive 3-0 win over Luxembourg, and Belgium won 2-0 against Montenegro. Kevin De Bruyne marked his 100th international appearance with a goal just before half-time to give Belgium the lead. Norway, led by Erling Haaland, had no problems with Kosovo, winning 3-0, with all three goals scored by the Manchester City striker. Denmark and Sweden faced each other in Copenhagen, where the Red Dynamite prevailed 2-1 after a late goal by Christian Eriksen.
