Harry Maguire: Missing FA Cup final and Euros the toughest moment of my career

Harry Maguire has addressed the ongoing rumours about his potential departure from Manchester United. Speaking to Sky Sports, Maguire stated, “To be honest, everything I’ve heard is that I’m part of the future here at Man United. I’m ready to fight for the biggest trophies.”

Maguire, who has one year left on his contract with an option for an extension, added, “If they come to me and say they don’t want me anymore, of course I’ll look for options elsewhere. But that’s never been told to me. Full focus on winning trophies here!”

Reflecting on recent challenges, Maguire described missing the FA Cup final and Euro 2024 due to injury as “probably the toughest moment in my career to date.”

Maguire also shared his thoughts on young teammate Leny Yoro: “We must remind ourselves he is really young. There are gonna be mistakes, but he has every attribute of a centre-back in the modern game, so I’m sure he’s gonna have a bright future.”
