Jokic’s triple double lifts Denver over Dallas, Curry’s season high 36 points down Oklahoma City Thunder

In a thrilling NBA encounter, the Denver Nuggets edged out the Dallas Mavericks, winning 122-120 in a battle of the European superstars. Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver with a remarkable triple-double performance of 37 points, 18 rebounds, and 15 assists. Luka Doncic responded with a near triple-double of his own, recording 24 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

Dallas’ Kyrie Irving emerged as the game’s top scorer, finishing with 43 points, along with five rebounds and five assists. His offensive firepower kept the Mavericks competitive until the final buzzer, though it wasn’t enough to secure the win. The Mavericks will now turn their attention to a matchup against the Golden State Warriors, with the return of Klay Thompson to Chase Center expected to add even more intensity to the meeting.

Meanwhile, Thompson’s old splash brother, Stephen Curry, displayed his brilliance once again, leading the Warriors to a 127-116 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Curry scored a season-high 36 points, adding seven assists and five rebounds, while making seven three-pointers. The Warriors saw a big lead trimmed to just 6 points in the fourth quarter, but Curry sealed the win with a crucial side-step three-pointer and clutch free throws down the stretch. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander concluded the game with 24 points for the Thunder. Both the Warriors and Thunder now share an 8-2 record, holding the second and third spots in the Western Conference standings.
