Wembanyama and Antetokounmpo lead Spurs and Bucks with huge performances, LeBron posts 3rd straight triple-double

Victor Wembanyama delivered a career-high 50 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 139-130 victory over the Washington Wizards. The French center scored 10 points in the first quarter, 14 in the second, and 19 in the third, falling just short of double digits in the fourth with 7 points. At 20 years and 314 days old, Wembanyama became the youngest center and the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to score 50 points, trailing only Brandon Jennings, LeBron James, and Devin Booker.

Meanwhile, LeBron James recorded his third consecutive triple-double in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 128-123 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies. James finished with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists, leading the Lakers’ comeback after trailing by 9 points midway through the third quarter. The victory marked the Lakers’ third straight win and their seventh in 11 games this season. Anthony Davis added 21 points and 14 rebounds, while Rui Hachimura and rookie Dalton Knecht contributed 19 points each.

In another standout performance, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a season-high 59 points to lead his team to a 127-120 overtime victory against the Detroit Pistons. Antetokounmpo also contributed 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Brook Lopez added 29 points for the Bucks, while Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 35 points and 11 assists, supported by Malik Beasley’s 26 points.
