Miller and Ball lead Hornets to overtime victory over Pistons, Spurs triumph against Jazz

The Charlotte Hornets secured a narrow 123-121 overtime victory against the Detroit Pistons, highlighted by standout performances from Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball. Miller scored a career-high 38 points, including eight critical points in overtime, while Ball added 35 points and nine assists. The duo became the first in Hornets history to record 35+ points each in the same game. Grant Williams contributed 12 points, Josh Green added 10, and Moussa Diabate collected 16 rebounds to aid the Hornets’ effort. Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 27 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds, supported by Tobias Harris with 26 points and eight boards. Malik Beasley and Isaiah Stewart added 16 and 13 points off the bench.

In the Western Conference, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Utah Jazz 126-118, overcoming an early deficit to claim victory. Harrison Barnes led the Spurs with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Chris Paul contributed a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. For the Jazz, Lauri Markkanen scored a team-high 27 points, and Keyonte George added 19 points.
