    Key Takeaways:

  • Napoli are reportedly targeting Manchester City’s Jack Grealish, with Antonio Conte pushing for the transfer
  • The Serie A leaders are three points ahead of Inter and aim to strengthen for next season’s Champions League
  • Grealish has lost his starting spot at City, making just 19 Premier League appearances this season

Serie A leaders Napoli are reportedly aiming to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City, according to the British tabloid The Sun. The outlet claims that Napoli’s manager Antonio Conte is a big admirer of the England international and is personally pushing for his transfer.

Napoli currently lead Serie A by three points ahead of Inter in the race for the Italian title, and Conte is keen on making a major signing to boost the team’s chances in the Champions League next season.

The Sun suggests that Grealish could leave City if a good offer arrives, and Napoli are not the only club interested in the midfielder. The ten-time English champions signed him from Aston Villa in August 2021 for £117.5 million, and he was part of the squad that won four trophies in 2023. However, Grealish has gradually lost his starting spot at City, making just 19 appearances in the Premier League this season. Another name on the radar of Serie A leaders Napoli is Kevin De Bruyne, also from Manchester City.
