    Key Takeaways:

  • Harvey Elliott hinted at a possible Liverpool exit after the season ended
  • Liverpool’s £109M offer for Florian Wirtz is under review by Bayer Leverkusen
  • Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Jarell Quansah and Elliott, valued at £40M+ each

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott is on the verge of parting ways with the club. The player himself hinted at this in one of his interviews after the end of the season in England. Media reports emerge that he could become part of the deal for bringing Florian Wirtz to Liverpool.

The Reds have already submitted an official offer worth £109 million, which is currently being discussed by the Bayer Leverkusen board. According to the latest reports, the German side and their new manager Erik ten Hag are showing interest in Elliott, who may be included in the Wirtz deal. Leverkusen are also targeting defender Jarell Quansah, with Liverpool valuing both players at over £40 million each.

While any potential transfers involving Elliott or Quansah would be negotiated separately from the Wirtz deal, Liverpool may offer favourable payment terms to Leverkusen on an outgoing transfer in order to secure their main target.

Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen have already completed one deal this summer, with Jeremie Frimpong making the move from the Bundesliga to the Premier League.
