Arsenal have announced the players they will part ways with at the end of the month, when their contracts expire. Among them are Jorginho, Raheem Sterling, and Kieran Tierney. Regarding another player whose contract is also ending – Thomas Partey – the club stated that negotiations are ongoing to extend his stay.

Sterling was on loan at Arsenal and will return to Chelsea, with whom he has a contract until 2027. As early as last summer, Enzo Maresca made it clear he had no intention of relying on him, and now the club will try to offload him – a difficult task due to his high salary.

The former England international had an unsuccessful spell at the Emirates. He played 28 matches, but mostly came off the bench for short appearances. Sterling registered one goal and five assists. His only goal for the Gunners came in the League Cup win over third-tier Bolton last September.
